Privacy Policy

Puzzle Points is a mobile scorekeeper for collaborative jigsaw puzzles, operated by Hivemind Labs, Inc. This policy explains what information the app handles and the choices available to you.

No advertising or cross-app tracking. Puzzle Points does not sell personal information and does not use your data to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Game data stored on your device

Player names, puzzle names, piece counts, scores, tap history, and saved-game information are stored locally on your device. This game data is not uploaded to Puzzle Points servers or included in analytics events.

Anonymous product analytics

Puzzle Points uses PostHog to collect anonymous product-usage information, such as app lifecycle events, screens viewed, features used, settings changed, game counts, and general app or device metadata. These events help us understand reliability and improve the app. They do not include player names, puzzle names, support-message contents, or advertising data.

Analytics uses an anonymous installation identifier and is not connected to a Puzzle Points account because the app has no account system. You can disable analytics at any time in Settings. PostHog processes this information on our behalf.

Support requests

If you choose to submit the in-app support form, Puzzle Points sends the description you provide and, if entered, your name and email address to Issued.dev. The request also includes limited technical context such as the app version and operating platform. We use this information only to investigate the request and respond when contact information is provided.

Support information is submitted only when you press the form’s Submit Request button. Please do not include passwords, one-time codes, or other sensitive information.

Data retention and security

Local game data remains on your device until you remove it or uninstall the app. Analytics and support information are retained only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve Puzzle Points or respond to your request. Information sent to our service providers is transmitted over HTTPS.

Children’s privacy

Puzzle Points does not require an account and is designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may contact us to request deletion.

Your choices

• Disable anonymous analytics from the app’s Settings screen.
• Leave the optional name and email fields blank when requesting support.
• Request access to or deletion of support information by contacting us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Puzzle Points changes. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest revision.
